New Delhi: In another dramatic turn in the ban Pakistani artistes’ controversy Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav shared his views on the entire issue. He backed the Pakistani artistes saying artistes have no religion or any caste.
He also added, "It's good that Indian army conducted surgical strike but we still believe that dialogue is the best way to sort things out."
The statement by UP Chief Minister has come amidst the nationwide chorus against Pakistani artistes and the Pakistan stand on the surgical strikes that were carried out by the Indian Army.
The controversy was first raked after the Uri attacks, when Maharashtra-based political party MNS had threatened Pakistani actors to leave India or else be ready to face consequences.
