New Delhi: There have been unwarranted doubts about the veracity of Indian Army's claim of conducting surgical strikes across the Line of Control (LoC), but none resonates with the public so much than Prime Minister Narendra Modi's favourite mudslinging partner Arvind Kejriwal.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader has been relentlessly criticised after he shared a video asking PM Narendra Modi to expose Pakistan and release proofs claiming the authenticity of the surgical strikes. Kejriwal was also attacked with ink for questioning the operation allegedly carried out by the Indian Army.
Kejriwal, however, has found supporters in Pakistan. With the Pakistani government and media vehemently denying the occurrence of the surgical strikes, Pakistani social media users flocked to support Kejriwal's questions, and soon enough, the controversial AAP leader who has been slapped, inked, heckled was the top Twitter trend in Pakistan. #PakStandsWithKejriwal was the top trend on Twitter with users supporting Kejriwal’s quest for proofs from the Modi government.
The surgical strikes came in the aftermath of the Uri attack where 19 Indian soldiers were killed by terrorists.
