New Delhi: A First Information Report (FIR) has been launched against Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi for his 'derogatory' remark which targeted Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi following the Uri attack and the surgical strikes carried out by the Indian Army.

The Congress VP had accused Prime Minister Modi of trading in blood of soldiers (Khoon Ki Dalali) which drew widespread criticism all over the country.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah had yesterday said in a press conference that politics had stooped to new low with the comment. He exclaimed that Rahul Gandhi should look at the situation inside Pakistan to know whether the surgical strikes took place or not.

This is not the first time Rahul Gandhi has drawn criticism for his comment. He has been censured many times for his 'poorly chosen' words during his speeches.

Rahul Gandhi's statement of khoon ki dalali

It is highly derogatory, objectionable & a very cheap &ill motivated statement of Sh. Raga he should demonstrate maturity at least in the matters of national importance having public sentiments while speaking on such delicate matters.
