Muzaffarnagar: A local Samajwadi Party (SP) leader has put up hoardings in the city which claim that it was only after SP Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav’s advice that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi ordered the surgical strike.
The district president of the Samajwadi Yuvjan Sabha, Mohammed Shamsher Malik ordered the hoardings to be put up, as confirmed by him to the Times of India.
The hoarding put up at Novelty Chowk in the city, has photos of Mulayam Singh Yadav, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and Mohammed Shamsher Malik and has congratulatory message for Mulayam Singh Yadav, whose advice was taken before carrying out the surgical strike. The hoarding also lauds the Indian Army. The elements spreading communalism by their dirty politics have been termed as “zero” in the hoarding.
On September 28, surgical strike was carried out across the Line of Control (LoC) by the India Armed Forces with the intention of eliminating the terror launch pads. According to the briefing by the Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) after the operation, seven terror launch pads and as many as 38 terrorists were eliminated by the Indian forces.
