New Delhi: Terrorist attack at a government building in Jammu and Kashmir's Pampore area resulted in one soldier and one policeman being injured on Monday. The attack has occurred at the same area where an encounter took place in February where 4 soldiers were martyred.

The attack took place at the Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute or EDI campus on the outskirts of Srinagar. The number of terrorists are believe to be three at this moment.

The terrorists who had infiltrated the institute in the morning came on a boat through the River Jhelum. Gunshots were exchanged soon as they arrived at the spot. Residents near the area also heard sounds of explosion.

Security personnel are engaging the terrorists and sweeping the area to nail any suspects.
