New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be celebrating the auspicious occasion of Dussehra at the historic Aishbagh Ramlila at Lucknow to take part in the grand special ceremony of how Hindu God Rama claimed victory over Ravana.

PM Modi has announced that this year’s celebration of Vijaya Dashami will be ‘very special’, which, if interpreted according to the recent developments, point towards India’s surgical strikes across the Line of Control where soldiers attacked terror launch pads.

Alongside this call for celebration, there is also the political turmoil inside Uttar Pradesh with the Akhilesh Yadav government twisting into multifold problems with its own family members.

“We will celebrate Vijaya Dashami in the coming days. This year’s Vijaya Dashami is very special for the country,” Modi said while speaking at the Vigyan Bhavan.

The surgical strikes, though hailed around the country, have been criticised because of how it is being used in poll-bound states. Many posters have cropped up around the country which shows the BJP and other parties claiming credit for the surgical strikes.

PM Modi, however, will not be attending the Ravan Dehan (the burning of Ravana) as he will leave the ceremony before the action.
