New Delhi: A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker has been killed in an attack a mere two days after a CPI(M) worker was hacked to death in Kannur district of Kerala. Kannur is emerging as one of the most volatile places in Kerala where strife between the Sangh Parivar and CPI(M) have resulted in intense clashes.
The BJP worker, named Remith, was attacked by unidentified assailants in Pinarayi town on early Wednesday. A report published on Manorama Online said that Ramit was grievously injured and succumbed on his way to the hospital.
Mohanan K, a CPI(M) worker in Kerala, was hacked to death on Monday by unidentified assailants at Valankichal near Anjarakkandy in Kannu district. Another worker was attacked with Mohanan K.
