PM Modi inaugurates 'Shaurya Smarak' in Bhopal; lauds Indian Army in 'Shaurya Samman' address

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated a war memorial 'Shaurya Smarak' in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar were also present on the occassion. 
 
Spread over 12 acres, the 'Shaurya Smarak' portrays the different stages of one's life. The valour gallery showcases the tradition of military honour.
 
Speaking on the occassion, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar said, "The inauguration has happened at a time when our soldiers displayed their extraordinary valour on Sep 29 (#SurgicalStrike)."
 
Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, "We have among us, those who devoted their youth in protecting our nation. This is a special gathering."
