16-year-old Hyderabad boy slips into a coma after brawl in college

New Delhi: 16-year-old Vijay Vardhan, a first-year intermediate student of Sri Chaitanya Junior College in Amberpet, slipped into coma after he was involved in a brawl over some petty issue with students. 

During the fight, Vardhan sustained critical injuries to his head and was immediately rushed to the hospital where he is currently battling for his life. According to the police, Vijay Vardhan had partaken in a brawl which involved three other students from his class.

"The three minor students beat up Vijay, who suffered severe head injuries. He was shifted to a hospital, where he is in critical condition," police said.
