New Delhi: Pakistan on Sunday violated the ceasefire at the Line of Control (LoC) near Naushera sector in sensitive Jammu and Kashmir.
Four Indian posts were targeted by the Pakistani forces. The Indian Army, however, is believed to have given a befitting response on the matter.
Lt Col Manish Mehta, defence spokesman said, “Pakistan Army violated ceasefire in Naushera sector of the LoC using small arms.”
“Our troops have responded befittingly using same calibre weapons.”
“No casualty or damage was reported. Firing exchanges continued in the area,” the spokesman added.
