Gwalior: At least eight birds have died in Gwalior Zoo of Madhya Pradesh in past 48 hours due to an infection.
Samples have been sent to veterinary hospital for investigation and precautionary steps are being taken amidst reports of bird flu cases across the country.
Meanwhile, National Zoological Park in Delhi has been temporarily closed in wake of freash cases of deaths of pelican birds. The govt has also shut down the deer park in Hauz Khas as it is suspected that two bird found dead inside might have ben infected with bird flu.
