New Delhi: In a relief for Sahara Group Chief, the Supreme Court on Friday extended the interim parole of Subrata Roy till 28th November.
Sahara Group has deposited Rs 200 crore today and will also deposit Rs 200 crore more by November end.
Earlier in September, SC had asked Sahara to deposit Rs 200 crore by October 24, as it extended its interim order releasing Subrata Roy and two other directors on parole.
The bench headed by Chief Justice of India T.S. Thakur, while extending the parole, asked Sahara to also give a road-map by which it wants to return investors’ money that it had raised from the investors in 2008-09 through Optionally Fully Convertible Debentures (OFCDs).
