New Delhi: In another case of honour killing, a 22-year-old man was brutally attacked inside a temple in Karimnagar town by a group of men related to the family of a girl he was in relation with.
According to reports, the victim Mahankali Anil, who was at Taapala Lakshminarasimha Swamy temple with 18-year-old H Mounika was thrashed and dragged out and then later brutally stabbed. The men did not stop there; they slit his throat too.
Carrying out the investigation in the case, the police later confirmed that it was a case of honour killing. Meanwhile, a search operation for the persons involved in the inhuman incident is on.
According to the police, the victim Mahankali Anil and Mounika, who belonged to the same caste, had planned to marry at a temple as Mounika had recently turned 18. However, when girl’s family got to know about Mounika’s whereabout, a group of men rushed to the temple and brutally thrashed the man.
