New Delhi: Pakistan on Friday afternoon violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Manjakot Sector of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Pakistani rangers resorted to heavy firing on a forward border out post (BoP) along the international border in Manjakot Sector.

The India troops retaliated properly. There has been no casualty or damage on the India side, reports said.

The firing is underway.

Earlier in the day, Pakistan violated the ceasefire in Hiranagar sector of Kathua district, injuring a BSF jawan.

According to sources, the fire from across the international border first came around 9.35 am and it continued for nearly 40 minutes.

“Pakistani Rangers resorted to small arms firing on a forward border out post (BoP) along the IB in Bobiya area of Hiranagar sector in the district at 0945 hours today,” BSF officer said.
