New Delhi: MNS on Saturday took a back step on its stand to oppose the release of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ after a meeting with Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis and producers. Party chief Raj Thackeray however maintained that producers will have to give in writing that they will not cast Pakistani actors in future.
Thackeray also added that producers who have cast Pakistani actors will have to donate Rs 5 crore to Army Relief fund.
The face-off between MNS and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ finally came to an end on Saturday with MNS saying it won’t oppose the release of the film if their aforementioned conditions are complied with.
The row had begun when MNS demanded a ban on Pakistani artists in the wake of Uri attack threatening to stop the release of the movie.
