New Delhi: In a tragic turn of events, a 23-year-old radio jockey of leading radio channel, ‘Radio Mirchi’ passed away while hosting a live show on Thursday in Nagpur.
The young jockey, identified as Shubham Keche, suffered a heart attack and was immediately rushed to the hospital where the doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Shubham Keche, Radio Mirchi RJ, was the host of show ‘Hi Nagpur’ which was aired from 7 to 11 in the morning. While hosting the show on Thursday, Shubham complained of acute chest pain to an office colleague, who later took him to the private hospital with the help of a peon.
Further disclosing the matter, the Hospital director Dr Sanjay Kriplani told a leading daily that, “He might have died 10-15 minutes before reaching the hospital. Since the reason for the death could not be ascertained, the body was sent to the Indira Gandhi Government Medical College (IGGMC) for post-mortem.”
Shubham’s father had passed away three years back making him the sole bread-earner of the family. His last rites were conducted at Mokshadham Ghat in the evening.
