New Delhi: In a recent development, the Samajwadi Party chief of Maharashtra, Abu Azmi has blamed veteran politician Amar Singh for creating a rift in the party.   
 
He said, “Amar Singh is the one to create a rift between the two brothers as well as between father and son.” 
 
After the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav sacked his uncle and senior leader Shivpal Yadav on Sunday, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav expelled its national General Secretary and spokesman Ram Gopal Yadav from the party for six years.
 
Ram Gopal Yadav was also sacked from all party posts, state party chief Shivpal Singh Yadav told the media, adding the action had been ordered by party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav.
 
Shivpal also said Ram Gopal Yadav is involved with BJP and he met BJP leaders three times in the last few days.
 
“Ram Gopal is involved with BJP; he met BJP leaders 3 times in the last few days which UP CM does not understand,” Shivpal Singh Yadav.
 
He has been conspiring against me and has been involved with BJP to save his son, Shivpal Singh Yadav added.
