New Delhi: In yet another ceasefire violation by Pakistan, an eight-year-old boy was killed in shelling and firing in Kanachak sector of Jammu & Kashmir on Monday. Four others were also injured in the assault carried out by Pakistani army.

A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan was martyred in ceasefire violation by Pakistan. The cross-border firing took place in Jammu’s RS Pura on the previous night. Another BSF jawan and one civilian also received injuries due to the heavy firing.

Ceasefire violations were reported since India carried out surgical strikes on militants’ launchpads along the Line of Control (LoC) in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) on September 29.
