New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Congress leader, Captain Amarinder Singh had an ugly Twitter war on Monday. Kejriwal in his reply to Amarinder’s tweet, agreed to an open debate and accepted the challenge.

As a response to Kejriwal’s tweet, Amarinder tweeted accusing Delhi CM of ‘hiding behind others’.

The ugly Twitter spat between the two erupted on Twitter on Sunday when AAP chief accused Capt Amarinder of using “drug money” in his campaign.

However, Capt Singh gave a befitting reply to Delhi CM, saying if he was “hallucinating” and seeing things that “don’texist”.

Kejriwal has been alleging a “nexus” between Congress and the ruling Akalis in poll-bound Punjab. He has dubbed Singh their “joint chief ministerial candidate”.

The assembly elections in Punjab are due in 2017. The AAP will debut in the assembly elections in Punjab. The incumbent Akali Dal-BJP is currently in power in the state.
