New Delhi: Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal reached Haryana on Thursday to attend the funeral of the ex-armyman who allegedly committed suicide over One Rank One Pension (OROP) issue.

The deceased Ram Kishen Grewal’s funeral will be held around 100 kms from Delhi in his village in Bhiwani.
Arvind Kejriwal took to Twitter to announce his visit, stating, “Will go to their village and meet Ram Kishan ji’s family there today.” Other top leaders will also be accompanying the Delhi CM.

Derek O’ Brien, Trinamool Congress leader also reached the place early morning.
Both the leaders, Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal, were detained while trying to meet the victim’s family at the RML Hospital.
The 65-year-old was an active participant in the OROP protests held at Jantar Mantar.
He called his son before committing suicide and told him that he has consumed poison. He called his death a sacrifice for jawans and his country.
