New Delhi: In another heinous incident reported from Greater Noida’s Rabupura area, three women were on Wednesday allegedly gangraped by six men who posed as policemen.

Four women were targeted. One woman was pregnant and pleaded them not to assault her sexually, after which they left her alone, but raped the other three women.

The women belonged to families of labourers who worked at a nearby brick kiln. The incident took place at around 1am when the assailants knocked at their door, claiming themselves to be police who had come to conduct an enquiry.

When the man opened the door, they caught hold of him and took his wife out. The same modus operandi was followed with other neighbours. The men were tied up a few metres away from their houses, while the women were raped by the assailants.

The attackers also looted their belongings and stole six chickens.

Case under sections 376D and 395 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered against the unidentified assailants.
