Jammu: In another successful attempt in nabbing terrorists, a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist was arrested on Thursday by the police and and 22nd regiment of Rajputhana rifles in Sopore, Jammu and Kashmir.

The terrorist has been identified as Umar, who is a resident of Tujjer area in Sopore.

As per reports, the accused was active in the region since many years.

Police arrested four people last week, out of which two were active members of Pakistan’s militant based organisation, Tehreek-i-Jehad (TJI), who used to receive funds from Pakistan for creating unrest in the region of Sopore.
