New Delhi: From assisting the Indian military in manning some of the remotest terrains to participating actively in numerous search and rescue operations, coupled with providing much needed emotional respite to jawans and officers alike, these brave 4-legged brave-hearts have borne, seen and done it all.

In a first of its kind initiative set to be undertaken by the Indian military, retired canine officers will be up for adoption on November 5 and November 6 at New Delhi’s much fancied Select Citywalk Mall in Saket. There will be 30 pedigree dogs available  for the adoption, out of which 4 will be paramilitary dogs.

These astoundingly well-behaved ex-service canines have undergone extremely tedious, top notch tactical and commando conditioning, which has provided them with the ability to calculate and blend into the most adverse situations.

Thus, let us for once stand tall and provide these champions with a much earned, respectable post- retirement transition into their new role as family.
