New Delhi: After Delhi CM chaired the emergency cabinet meeting earlier in the day today, Arvind Kejriwal briefed the media about the decisions being made during the meet.
Emphasising on the implementation of emergency measures, Kejriwal announced that the jet sprinkling of roads would start from Monday, and vacuum cleaning from November 10.
He also announced that the schools will remain shut for the next three days. Construction works and demolition-related work will be put on hold for the next five days. Transportation of fly ash will be stopped for 10 days.
The CM also advised people to stay indoors as much as they could and try to work from home if possible.
Except in hospitals and emergency places, no DG sets will be used in Delhi for the next 10 days.
The CM also said that the state government would soon introduce Odd-Even traffic plan again.
Kejriwal said that crop-burning will continue and so relief cannot be expected soon. The special cabinet meeting discussed about artificial rain and wanted the Centre to extend its support.
