New Delhi: In another news of an activist being attacked by unidentified assailants, a Bharatiya Janata Party activist was found dead in Sonal village of Aurad on Tuesday, a panchayat town in Karnataka’s Bidar district.
Sunil Dongre, the deceased, was found with multiple wounds on his body. As per sources, Sunil was attacked with sharp weapons and there were serious injuries found on his intestine, face and other body parts.
Dongre’s body was found in the premises of a government primary school in the village. The initial probe revealed that Sunil received a phone call at around 10PM, after which he left for the school.
Dongre is survived by mother, wife and three children.
Just two days back, a BJP worker was found dead under mysterious circumstances while he was on his way back to his village after attending meeting in Priya Patna Taluk of Mysore. He was found dead with severe injury on his head.
