New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressed the nation and talked about various issues like NDA government’s performance, its policies, economy, corruption, unaccounted money and terrorism.  

The Prime Minister in a major annoucement said that from midnight Nov 8, 2016 today, Rs500 and Rs1000 notes will no longer be a legal tender.
 
The PM said that the citiznes of the country will have 50 days (From 10 Nov to 30 Dec) to deposit notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 in any bank or post office.
