New Delhi: Post Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to ban two big denominations that of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 didn’t just fluctuate the markets or peoples’ business but there was also a lot happening on PM Modi Twitter account.
PM Modi, is one of those politicians who knows the power of social media and has efficiently used it to promote his leadership. But after he announced the decision to role back Rs 500 and Rs 1,000, he lost more than 3 lakh followers on Twitter.
According to social media and website tracking analytics site Trackalytics, PM Modi’s followers decreased to 23,808,681 (-318,017) on November 10.
Now was it the effect of peoples’ anger who were inconvenienced and confused about the step taken by him or those who were holding black money, we can’t really say.
PM Modi, however, assured the people that there was no need to panic as they could deposit or exchange their Rs 500, 1000 notes from any bank, post office between November 10 and December 30.
On November 11, PM Modi, analytics claimed, again gained around 4.3 lakh followers on Twitter.
According to Trackalytics, PM Modi’s total followers reached to 24,239,277 as their was a total gain of 430,596 followers.
