New Delhi: BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi made a poetic jibe over Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi visit to the SBI, Parliament Street branch in order to exchange his Rs 4,000, after the Prime Minister Narendra Modi demonetised Rs 500 and Rs 1000.
Commenting on the incident, Sudhanshu Trivedi, BJP, said “VP Rahul Gandhi who is an accused in the Rs 5,000 crore in National Herald case is currently out after furnishing a personal bond by the court is now queuing up to exchange a mere amount of Rs 4,000.” The BJP spokesperson questioned whether this was the ‘real’ Rahul Gandhi who faced charges.
Sudhanshu Trivedi, BJP, further said, “I agree that people are currently facing problems, but this is done for the long term betterment of the people of the nation.”
BJP’s official spokesperson who is often known for his poetic nature couldn’t stop himself from bringing out his poetic nature over this issue. He poetically expressed his emotions saying “Chaman ko seechne mai kuch pattiya kuch jhad rahi hongi, yehi ilazam lag raha hai hum par bewafayi ka. Magar kaliyon ko rond dala jisne apne haantho se, wahi dawa kare hai chaman ki rehnumayi ka.”
