New Delhi: President Pranab Mukherjee on Monday inaugurated the 36th India International Trade Fair (IITF) at Pragati Maidan in Delhi.
The theme of this year’s fair is ‘Digital India’ and will see participation from 7,000 participants. Over 150 companies from 27 countries will also be taking part in the fair.
South Korea will be the ‘Partner Country’ for this year’s fair, while Belarus will be the Focus ‘Country’. Similarly, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand will be the ‘Partner States’ and Haryana the ‘Focus State’.
The annual fair is immensely popular among the consumers as it features state-of-the-art technologies, products and services. The fair also showcases a huge variety of handicrafts and handlooms with multifarious hues and designs.
