New Delhi: What is beautiful about Children’s Day celebration is that it commemorates the innocence of infancy with genuine concern by adults. Children all over the country feel that they are contributing, however uniquely, to society. So keeping this in mind, this Pune girl’s Google Doodle sketch on Children’s Day is the perfect interpretation we could all hope for.

Anvita Prashant Telang, an 11-year-old girl from Pune studying in Vibgyor High School, won the ‘Doodle 4 Google’ contest for her wonderful Doodle sketch which was titled ‘Enjoy Every Moment’. Telang thinks that people should slow down to lead a happy and fulfilling life.

Anvita’s Doodle sketch presents a simplistic view of life where enjoying little things and appreciating the present moment gives immense joy and happiness. Her sketch also represents the importance of nature and how it will satisfy a person’s need for peace and stability.

Children’s Day is celebrated on the occasion of late Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru’s birthday, often affectionately called by the kids as Chacha Nehru.
