New Delhi: A wild tigress T-83 was rescued after falling into an open well near Ranthambore National Park.

The Rajasthan Forest Department rescued the tigress on Monday morning from Khawa village in Rajasthan, just a km from the Ranthambore National Park, India today reported.

Tigress T-83, popularly known as ‘Lightning’ was rescued by the forest officials with the help of locals on Monday morning.

After the tigress was tranquilized, one of the forest guards went into the well and with the help of ropes and nets, she was brought up and sent back to Ranthambore National Park.
