Lucknow: With the assembly elections in the state of Uttar Pradesh due in the coming months, political fluctuations have already started in the current ruling Samajwadi Party (SP). In another big development, ousted SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav on Thursday was re-instated into the party.

Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav on Thursday re-instated Ram Gopal Yadav back into the party. Ram Gopal will once again be given the role of party’s General Secretary and spokesperson.

Ramgopal Yadav, who was sacked from all party posts over charges of corruption and sabotage against the party, on Monday (November 14) while addressing a media briefing got emotional and said, “I still believe myself to be part of SP, even if I am not operating officially.”

Speaking to his supporters on Tuesday, Ramgopal Yadav broke down and said, “If people believe that injustice has been done to me, then they should do justice to me.”

“Agar log samjhte hai ke mere sath annay hua hai to mere saath insaaf kare. Mein lalchi nhi hu,” said Ramgopal Yadav.

“I never wanted to be a minister or hold any office,” Ramgopal added.

Ousted Samajwadi Party General Secretary Ram Gopal Yadav was sacked from all party posts and expelled from the party for six years by Mulayam Singh in October.
