New Delhi: The First day of the Winter Session of the Parliament began with the Opposition taking on the Government over its move to demonetise ₹500 and ₹1000 rupee notes.

Lower and Upper House will debate over the government’s demonetisation move. The Opposition parties including Congress, CPI-M, BSP, JD(U), Trinamool Congress have teamed up to corner the Modi government over the issue.
