New Delhi: Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thakeray on Thursday hit out at the govt over the issue of demonetisation.
Criticising the drastic step taken by govt to curb black money, Thackeray said that common people were suffering beacuse of the demonetisation drive.
“We are with Govt in its war against black money; but one’s holding it must be targeted not common man,” he said.
Thackeray added that he had spoken to Home Minister Rajnath Singh and urged him to take steps for improving the situation.
“In my conversation with Rajnath Singh I urged that Govt must take steps to minimise the inconvenience caused to the people,” he said.
