Srinagar: Pakistan resorted to heavy mortar shelling in Manjakote sector of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on late Thursday night (November 17).
According to reports, forward villages in Pallanwalla, Balakote and Manjakote sector were targeted. The Indian security forces strongly retaliated at the Pakistani rangers and there was not any reports of causality yet.
Earlier on Novermber 8, Pakistan violated ceasefire in Krishna Ghati (KG) Sector in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K). The violation started at around 1:45 pm using 120 mm mortars and automatics. No casualities were reported.
On November 7, an army soldier was injured in an encounter between the militants and troops of 62 Rashtriya Rifles and state police in Wangam village of Shopian district.
