Earlier this year on January 22, the self-styled godman was put under the scanner following the report of several incidents of minor boys going missing from his ashram.
Previously, a Delhi-based journalist had filed a complaint against Narayan Sai for sexually harassing her. In the complaint she had mentioned that while working with a local news channel around 3 years ago she had gone to their ashram in Karol Bagh to interview Narayan Sai at which time she was harassed.
When she informed her channel’s chief about the incident, he asked her to shun the matter immediately. The woman quit the channel after that.
