New Delhi: In a shocking incident, old currency worth Rs one crore was looted from a bank in Odisha on Monday.
As per the police officials, the missing currency was in banned Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000 notes. The police are yet to nab the robbers and are examining the CCTV footage.
Incidents of bank robbery have increased since the demonetisation move. Earlier in the day, a bank was looted by unidentified gunmen in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district.
