New Delhi: BJP workers on Tuesday staged a protest against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for demanding roll back of the demonetisation move and asked whether he supports ‘terrorism and the use of black money in elections’.
Hundreds of Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers wore masks of Kejriwal and walked from the Civil Lines metro station to his residence and raised slogans against him.
“Does Kejriwal want to use the black money in the Punjab elections, which has become of no use after demonetisation?” BJP workers protesting outside the Chief Minister’s residence told reporters.
“Does he want to fund terrorists in the country?” another protestor asked.
Some BJP workers also wore the masks of Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, who too has criticised the demonetisation of 500 and 1,000 rupee notes.
