New Delhi: Former Jammu & Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah on Tuesday hit out at the govt over demonetisation issue.
Criticising Narendra Modi government’s drastic move, Abdullah said that government’s reasons to ban old currency has failed to yield results.
“Rs 2000 notes have been recovered from possession of terrorists killed in Bandipora today. On the other hand, poor in the country have no money, ” he said.
NDA government is facing a lot of criticism from opposition parties over the sudden move to ban Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes in order to curb black money.
