New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday took to twitter to announce the results of demonetisation poll conducted on NaMo application on Tuesday.
Here are the results:
— 98% respondents think black money exists in India.
— 99% respondents think that evil of corruption and black money needs to be fought and eliminated.
— 90% respondents think govt’s moves to tackle black money is brilliant.
— 92% respondents think that the Modi government’s efforts against corruption are very good/good.
— 90% respondents support the Modi’s govt’s move of banning old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes.
— 92% respondents think demonetisation will have an impact on curbing black money, corruption and terrorism.
— 66% respondents completely agreed to the survey’s statement that demonetisation will bring real estate, higher education, and healthcare in common man’s reach, while 27% people only partially agreed. 6% people could not make up their mind.
— 43% respondents said that they did not mind the inconvenience faced in govt’s fight to curb corruption, black money, terrorism and counterfeit of currency. 48% people said that there was inconvenience, but worth it. 8% people were not happy with the inconvenience caused by demonetisation.
— 86% respondents completely agreed to the survey’s statement that some anti-corruption activists are now actually fighting in support of black money, corruption and terrorism. 14% people disagreed with the statement.
— The survey has received over 5 lakh responses so far from 2,000 locations from across the world.
