New Delhi: The opposition parties on Wednesday called for a nationwide ‘Bharat Bandh’ on November 28 to protest against government’s demonetisation move.
The united opposition has declared that they will observe November 28 as ‘Aakrosh Diwas’ to oppose Modi government’s suddent move to ban Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes in order to curb black money. Congress on the other hand has termed it ‘ Jan Aakrosh’ Diwas.
Earlier in the day, many opposition parties including the Congress staged a protest in the national capital against the move.
BJP govt is facing severe criticism over demonetisation as it has resulted in huge problems for common man.
