New Delhi: The Lok Sabha was, on Friday, disrupted yet again after an uproar following the opposition’s demands for a debate on PM Narendra Modi’s demonetisation move under adjournment motion.
After the House met, speaker Sumitra Mahajan made a reference to the Constitution Day, which falls on November 26, and to the Mumbai terror attack of 2008.
Mahajan then tried to conduct the question hour.
Following the ruckus in the house, Lok Sabha was adjourned till Monday.
Another chaos followed when a man, who was present in the House on the reference of Bulandshahr MP Bhola Singh, tried to jump off from the gallery of Lok Sabha allegedly over the demonetisation issue.
Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan took cognizance of the incident and further said that she will talk to the Parliament security officers regarding the incident.
