Chandigarh: At least seven workers were burnt alive in a massive fire that engulfed a thread factory in Haryana’s Panipat district, police said on Friday.
Fire engines were rushed to the factory site near Korad village in Panipat district, 165 km from here, following the incident.
Police officials said it was still not known how many people were inside the factory when the fire started.
They did not rule out the casualty figure going up.
