Mumbai: itv Network holds a special programme at Mumbai’s Gateway of India to pay tribute to the martyrs of 26/11 on its 8th anniversary.

The event begun with the patriotic song ‘Sare Jahan Se Acha’ and a Christian hymn.

Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Devendra Fadnavis, CM of Maharashtra sang a song to pay her tribute to the bravehearts.

A special audio-visual was played in the voice of lyricist Prasoon Joshi to pay tribute to the martyrs.

In the event delegates from terror- stricken countries like US, Italy, Bangladesh, France, Britain, Italy were present.

In the year 2008, a terror attack shook the entire nation where 166 were victimised that included martyrs and other bravehearts who were killed by 10 Pakistani militants.

The attacks and the counter-terorr operations by multiple security agencies, continued for almost 60 hours between the nights of Wednesday November 26 till the dawn of Saturday, November 29, 2008.
