The jewellery was stolen last week from Aamir Kha’s wife Kiran Rao’s residence on Cartar road in Bandra.

Mumbai: Jewellery worth Rs 80 lakh has been stolen from Kiran Rao’s house in Mumbai, according to a complaint.

The jewellery was stolen last week from Aamir Kha’s wife Kiran Rao’s residence on Cartar road in Bandra.

A complaint was filed on November 24 with the Khar police by Kiran’s father.

The missing jewellery includes a diamond necklace and a ring.

Senior police inspector Ramchandra Jadhav of Khar police station confirmed to Times Of India that a case had been registered and that a probe was on.

The writer-producer’s house-helps are being questioned by the police.

Neither Aamir, nor Kiran have given any statement regarding the theft so far.
