New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday directed all movie halls to play the National Anthem at the start of every movie accompanied by national flag on screen.
The Court added that people must rise and pay respect to the National Anthem.
The apex court has also said that the National Anthem must not be printed on any undesirable object.
Earlier, advocate Abhinav Srivastava had filed a PIL in the court, which said that the National Anthem should be respected by every citizen.
