Kolkata: A mob vandalised a nationalised bank in Bengal on Wednesday after they could not withdraw money despite being in the queue for hours.

A State Bank of India (SBI) branch at Jagadishpur in Howrah district was attacked around 3 pm, a police officer said. No one was arrested.

The bank customers lost patience as they could not take out money in spite of standing in the queue for long hours.

The glass door and window panes of the bank were broken. Police had to intervene to control the situation.
