DMK president M Karunanidhi admitted to Kauvery hospital in Chennai

New Delhi: The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) president M Karunanidhi has been admitted to Kauvery hospital at Alwarpet in Chennai on Thursday morning following his allergic reactions to drugs. The drugs he was allergic to, were those he was regularly taking.

As per sources, the DMK president Karunanidhi was rushed to the Kauvery Hospital at 5:50AM at Alwarpet. He was accompanied by his wife Rajathiammal, son MK Stalin and former Union Minister Dayanidhi Maran.

As per the press release issued by the Kauvery Hospital, the doctors informed that the DMK president is stable and is being treated by a team of doctors. The doctors further said that the DMK president will be in the hospital for few days till he recovers.
