Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan recently visited his alma mater, Govt Sanjay Gandhi Higher Secondary School in the Shivaji Nagar area of Bhopal after 47 years. He went to his school as a part of the state government’s 'Kahani Utsav' programme.

As per reports, Shivraj Singh attended this school in 1969.

During his visit to his school, Chouhan narrated stories from his childhood that were related to his school. As a part of his session, the CM narrated the story about Arjun, the famous archer of ‘Mahabharata’ and how during the archery test taken by his Guru Dronacharya, Arjun focused straight on the eye of the bird.

Mr Chouhan further explained to the children that success can be achieved by focusing on studies only.

During his visit, CM Chouhan turned nostalgic and recalled how he used to travel by foot to his school from Ravishankar Nagar.

As part of the 'Kahani Utsav' programme, Shivraj Chouhan announced that the school students would be taken to Madavgarh during their December vacations. He also announced the construction of a school building and the repair of the existing one.
