Lucknow: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah unveiled the party manifesto for Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. The BJP manifesto is named ‘Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra’ (Pledge for People’s Welfare).
BJP is eyeing to regain power in the state. BJP has been in exile from power for 15 years.
Party president during the launch of the manifesto said BJP will fill all the vacant posts in the police force immediately after coming to power.
Amit Shah also attacked the state Samajwadi Party government by saying that the centre gave Rs One lakh crore to Uttar Pradesh but no development is seen on ground.

BJP government will distribute laptops to youth with 1 GB free internet after coming to power and all universities will get free WiFi facility, Shah added.
Amit Shah also said that Uttar Pradesh has been plundered by SP and BSP for 15 years. We have come with a pledge to transform state, Shah added.
Amit Shah said BJP will form teams at district levels to check exodus of people due to communal tension.
BJP’s key agenda of Ram Temple in Ayodhya was also mentioned during the launch of BJP manifesto. Amit Shah said we want a Ram temple at its earliest under constitutional measures.
Food processing park to be built in Uttar Pradesh and 24 hours electricity to be provided which would be available at cheap rates for poor, added Amit Shah.
